Long Sault is dry. I rode there, rode the turkey and the eastern bluebird one time in each direction and then back.
About 3:15. Mountain Biking is fun.

2010.6
Over 80K today. Just over 3 hours on one of my favourite routes out to the Port Hope townline and back on the Lakeshore. Killer wind on the way back. Didn't feel like taking pictures.

2010.5
Can't believe how nice it is outside. Arm and knee warmers plus a windvest is all it took to stay warm. Rode the Ashburn to Old Scuggog loop. Lots of people out there.
76 K in about 2:50.

2010.4
Riding singlespeed is fun. Riding it uphill not so much. Riding it uphill with a stiff headwind is just plain nasty.
62 K in 2:30. Nice and slow.

Ontario February facts. Mild days are not rare. Sunny days are not uncommon. Mild, sunny days need not be wasted.
52 K in two hours.

2010.2 Super Bowl ride
It was pretty cold today. About -12 with the windchill. So I decided to ride up to the Harmony landfill Conservation Area. Nice packed down snow and fast frozen trails.

2010.1

P1170162.JPG, originally uploaded by Rodrigo Hermosillo.
First ride of 2010, 48 K in a bit less than two hours. Don't know the exact time because my watch has no battery. No computer on the singlespeed either. Feels so good just to be out. It's so great that they spread sand, not salt around here, I am less concerned about corrosion and seizing of different bike parts now.
