110 clicks to Port Hope and back. On the way out I rode on the concessions but google maps screwed up a road and I had to ride the last few kilometers on hwy 2. The wind was on my back the whole time coming back 40 kph all the way. Still my average was a very bad 26.5. I need to ride some trails soon, the road bike is getting old fast.

I finally did the complete Ashburn to Old Simcoe loop for the first time this year.



Train delay.

I felt very good considering the long time off the bike. 75 cliks in total in 2:45 even after slowing down at the end to check some yard sales.

First I rode 70 clicks at a nice pace, got back home, filled the water bottles, threw a wind vest on and took Irania and Tiff out on a 30 k ride. Total for the day 101.7. No riding for a couple weeks because we are going to the flattest place in the world to visit family.

1.5 hours as much climbing as I can do out of the house in that time. Should my first mtb ride of the year be a 50 k race in mud and ice? I don't know, I like my bike too much.

1.5 hours for 35 clicks. First weekday ride on the tally. Rode Sunday too but only for about an hour on the singlespeed at a mellow pace with some friends so it doesn't count.

First time over 80 clicks this year, just under 3 hours. Port Hope townline and back on the Lakeshore. Was running late so no pictures

Hard route Leskard and all the way to the Oshawa Townline. 72 clicks in 2:40.

Some sunshine, Ashburn to Townline, back on Townline, about 65 clicks in 2.5 hours. Colder that it seemed

Sunny outside, about 8 degrees. I did a nice loop to Howden Road, the 10th concession and back on old Simcoe road. 65 clicks in total.

Second road ride of the season. I am sick of riding indoors. Hilly first half of what is locally known as the Jerry ride. Had a lot of fun but didn't feel so hot.

I took the road bike out for the first time this year. Rode 66 clicks, felt cold, tired, hungry but couldn't stop smiling. The ride to Golf Course Road in Newcastle and circling down to the lake has some spots that are wind swept, up and down and with very rough pavement. Good stuff.

1.5 hours today. Windy, cold, sunny, dry roads, fun. The singlespeed is tough to ride against the wind.

Another 2 hours on the singlespeed today. Dry roads except for some tree covered areas and the Darlington Trails. I even had to walk a little.

This is my quest to ride my bike 100 times this year. Indoor and rides under one hour don't count. Today, 2 hours on sloppy roads, at least it wasn't cold.
